Samsung Galaxy S8 Review

There has been no shortage of leaks Samsung S8. We know practically everything there is to know about Samsung’s upcoming flagship, but if you weren’t able to keep track of all the leaks, this article will definitely get you covered. Here are 8 things you can expect from the Samsung Galaxy S8.

  1. Massive Near-Border Display

This is probably the best look for the Galaxy S8 massive display. The S8 will come in dual curved screen sizes which will eat up most of the phones front. Two screen sizes will probably be like the regular model for 5.8”    and for the S8 plus variant the screen size will be closer to 6.2”. Going bezel less means the navigation buttons will be moved to the display itself. The fingerprint sensor migrates from the front to the back right beside the camera.

  1. A Personal Assistant Named Bixby

S Voice never really took off from Samsung Smartphones, so on the S8 Samsung hired a new assistant named Bixby. Bixby is Samsung’s version of Siri, Cortana and Google assistant. It comes with a dedicated physical button and is designed to be a lot smarter and can learn from your everyday behavior like with any new tech app compatibility will come gradually.

  1. A Single-Lens, Yet Incredibly Fast Camera

While most of the flagships in 2017 have gone duals, Samsung is sticking on its one camera. No complaints here though, Google Pixel has recently gained more attention even with just a single lens camera. So there’s a good chance that S8 will still come outas one of the best smartphone cameras despite the increasing number of double-barrel shooters. The S8 camera can possibly shoot at a blistering 1,000 frame per second during video recording similar to what the Sony Xperia XZ Premium can do.

  1. Fastest Processor To Date

All of this has been possible, thanks to the fastest processor today Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The S8 will most likely also be powered by an in-house Exynos chip in some regions. What’s crazier though is that leaked benchmarking results show that the Exynos processor will be even faster than the Snapdragon counterpart.

  1. Smarter Facial Recognition Technology

One of the headline feature of the last year’s Note 7 was an IRIS scanner, now the S8 might step it up and introduce facial recognition. It’s supposed to not only provide secure phone access but also verify your identity before making transactions using Samsung pay so more security while making any payment.

  1. Some Snazzy Colors

As of now the only colors we can now confirm are Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver. It sounds pretty boring but we imagine all this wouldn’t limit you as Samsung will bring fresh new colors in the future for the phone’s life.

  1. April Rollout

The Samsung S8 will become official during its New York Launch next week but shipping of its retail units reportedly begin only on 18th or 21st of April for South Korea and April 28th for the US.

  1. There’s Probably More

Of course, all of this is based on the rumors that have been gathered so far, thus things may change here or there in the future but don’t worry just like all other Samsung Mobile Phonesthe S8 will definitely rock the world and gain bigger market share this time.
