Charging is something that is universal for everybody and the reason for that is because we have many devices that require charging. For example, a smartphone is something that most of us use every day and it’s also something that we have to charge every day too. That is why it’s vital to know what types of charging electronics there are on the market because most of us just settle for USB wall chargers because they have powerful charging and many USB charging ports.

However, there is indeed another solution that you’re able to find more useful than just a USB charger and that’s what I’ll be going over in this article.

Power bank

A power bank is one of the most popular charging electronics on the market and the reason for that is because it’s a portable charger that can be taken anywhere. When you have a portable charger you no longer have to have your devices in single place for charging and you’re free to do and go wherever you’d like.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:inline-block;width:468px;height:60px"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1062932554684497"
     data-ad-slot="3004582167"></ins>

With that said, since power banks have grown so much in the past few years, it’s important to know the two major types of power banks and their capabilities.

Low Power Capacity

Power banks that have low power capacities are ones that are used the most often. The reason for that is because a low power capacity means that they use very few batteries and most of them use a single battery. That results in a power bank being very small and the most useful type of Mini power bank is one that’s Slim. A Slim type is basically the same size as your smartphone and can slide right into your pocket along with your smartphone. These types of portable chargers can literally be taken anywhere.

With all that said, as portable as these ones are, a low power capacity of 5,000mAh or below means that they’re mostly meant for recharging smartphones to full power only once or twice. Not exactly for long-term use but very useful if you’re out and about and your smartphone is in need of some emergency charging.

High Capacity

Then there are power banks that have high power capacities. These types of portable chargers are ones that are a lot more useful, although not because of their portability. Portability is less useful with these power banks because a high power capacity means that they have to use more batteries and that ultimately makes the power bank larger and heavier too. So it’s not exactly going to fit into a pocket and neither are you able to hold it for long periods of time.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:inline-block;width:250px;height:250px"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1062932554684497"
     data-ad-slot="7923851369"></ins>

For everything else though, a high capacity brings quite a lot of benefits with it. One of the most obvious ones is that a 20,000mAh power capacity and beyond is able to charge smartphones and a bunch of other devices to full power multiple times over. They also use multiple USB charging ports so you can charge many devices at the same time. One of the most important features to look out for is if a power bank uses Quick Charge or USB-C. Since there are more and more smartphones that are becoming common with those charging technologies and it’s vital to use those techs because you’re able to charge your devices very quickly while you’re on-the-go with a power bank.

Solar Chargers

Solar chargers should not be mistaken for Solar power banks because Solar Chargers don’t have a power capacity. Instead, Solar chargers have multiple large Solar panels that are able to take in light and transfer that light into charging power. The great thing about Solar chargers is that you’re not relying on a power capacity for the power you use; you’re relying on the sun and that is why Solar chargers are the most useful charging electronic to use if you’re in the outdoors camping or hiking.

This is because Solar chargers can either be placed down for when you’re taking a break and while you’re on the move they can still be useful. Just by having the Solar charger opened up all the way and using their Lanyard holes to connect to a backpack, you’re able to harness Solar energy as much as possible with the Solar charger at your back. Ultimately, leading you to be able to charge your devices while you’re on the move.

Another reason that Solar chargers are better than Solar power banks is that Solar power banks just use a single Solar panel for recharging and the recharging speed with them is very slow. It’s best to go with the more efficient route.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:inline-block;width:250px;height:250px"

     data-ad-slot="7923851369"></ins>

Surge Protectors with USB Charging Ports

We think of Surge Protectors as Appliances that are used to power various amounts of appliances at the same time. One of the most used types of devices that are used with Surge Protectors is usually a USB wall charger. The problem with that is using a USB wall charger takes up an AC outlet that could have been used for something else. In addition to that, you run a chance of covering up surrounding AC Outlets.

That is why the best type of Surge Protector to get are ones that use built-in USB charging ports and that basically erases the need of using a USB wall charger at all. These charging ports are just as powerful as ones that USB wall chargers use because they have charging speeds of 2.4A and some ports even use Quick Charge to charge compatible devices at max charging speeds. Another great thing about Surge Protectors that use USB ports is that they use many of them and that allows you to charge many devices at once, just as you would with any other USB charger.

Xiaomi is one of the companies, which is really innovating in the real sense. It gives all the premium features at the budget-friendly price. While others are innovating in camera and battery, Xiaomi made a phone which looks unreal and quite fascinating. Xiaomi Mi Mix is a spectacular device with an edge to edge display of 6.4 inches.

Design and Display

Xiaomi Mi Mix is a premium flagship device from Xiaomi. Xiaomi Mi Mix is a big device with a screen size of 6.4 inches. It is made of ceramic which is the most premium material. Everything in the device is made of ceramic – front, rear and buttons as well. The back is glossy and slippery and is prone to fingerprints. But, with a case, this won’t be a problem. It has the dimensions of 158.8 (H) x 81.9 (W) x 7.9 (T) mm and weighs 209grams, which is quite heavy.

data-ad-slot="3004582167"></ins>
The Xiaomi Mi Mix packs a 6.4-inch edge to edge display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels. The display is spectacular with a pixel density of 361 PPI. It uses IPS LCD display and is protected by screen protection. Though we would suggest, you should use a screen protector. The screen to body ratio is 84.07% which is amazing. This device has a very good display panel with superb contrast. The only bad thing is the outdoor display is average.

The front of the device is completely different from the rest of the phones. There is nothing above the display. There is no proximity sensor either. It uses sonar technology to detect your face. The LED notification light and the front 5MP camera lie below the display. The volume key and power key, which are made of ceramic, lie on the right side of the device. The left side of the device has the dual nano SIM slot. There is no SD card slot in this device. The top of the device houses the 3.5mm jack and the bottom has USB type C port at the bottom.

The back cover of the device is non-removable and features a 16MP rear camera with LED flash next to it. The round fingerprint sensor lies below the camera. The back cover is reflective and is prone to fingerprints.
More often we get to see Smartphone users complaining about their scratched screens, full memory and many more things like out of contact list. These are usual stories of people using Smartphone these days. Most of the smart phones give enough reasons to get pissed off and have a feeling of throwing away your handset. But wait, instead of throwing the phones to trash think of a brand, which is really infallible and to the mark. One such brand is Samsung, so, why not switch over to this phone, you have loads of reasons to do so, right from the affordable Samsung Mobile Price to wide range of Samsung Mobile Model collections. Let’s check the seven reasons to switch over to Samsung mobile as under:

1). Smaller Screens are obsolete why not go for large with Samsung Mobiles

Well, you have opened up your eyes now and get to see the bigger and brighter HD super AMOLED screen, which one can only get with Samsung Mobiles. The Galaxy S4 is known to have five inches screen and one can even supersize the same. The Galaxy Note 3 can be seen with the glorious 5.7 inches.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:inline-block;width:468px;height:60px"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1062932554684497"
     data-ad-slot="3004582167"></ins>

2). No Problem with Battery

Unlike the other branded phones, the Samsung mobile phones will never leave you stranded without any juice. By simply popping in the spare battery while you need the same and unlike a bunny with the drum one can just keep things going.

3). Internal Storage can be found more restrictive here more than like the pair of disco pants better break free with memory expanding Micro SD Cards

No need to move around the tracks or delete any picture while you get the desperate quest for any free megabytes. All you need to do is to update whenever you want things by either simply with a slot in a memory card or by smugly downloading another Jean Claude Van Damme Box Set in your device.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:inline-block;width:250px;height:250px"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1062932554684497"
     data-ad-slot="7923851369"></ins>

4). Your phone keeps on movie, don’t worry you can get things settled down in no time

All you need to do is to plug in your PC and then park all your cheesy and shamefully music, the soppy videos and some embarrassing pictures along with the time wasting applications on your brand new Samsung mobile without any delay or hassle. The Smart Switch can help you in finding out how things can be transferred without much of efforts.

5). Don’t Worry, Your Apps are Following You

Ditching your old smart phones doesn’t really mean that you leave behind your favorite applications behind. Well, you can even find the Android version of everything you have used. Samsung returns your happy days back.

6). User-friendly phones

If you worry how to use the Samsung phones, think again, you do not have to worry as these devices are simple to use and quick to work. You would find loads of useful videos and stuff over MyGalaxy app wherein you can handily pre-load over your new Smartphone for helping you to find the Samsung feet.

7). Samsung phone has wonderful widgets

You can own the phone with home screen with loads of customized stuff unlike the widgets that help you breathe including news, emails and keep the latest celebrity tiff over Twitter. You can easily go personal with the shortcuts, folders and apps.

It’s everywhere now! The all new Moto E by Motorola has been launched on Tuesday, May 13, at an attractive price through Motorola’s e-commerce partner Flipkart. The phone is sure to make heads turn with its high-end features and affordable price quotes. The phone has been launched in India and UK simultaneously. Contextually, Moto E is the first handset officially released by Motorola after being acquired by Lenovo.

The competition will be tough….or will it?

Moto E is cheaper than Moto G that Motorola launched earlier this year. While the later had been priced at £130, the newly launched phone is cheaper at just £89 (in UK). There’s nothing much to talk about the design of the application. It’s simple, yet elegant. However, it is neither extremely thin nor feather light. If you are looking for a phone that is sure to give you a responsive and modern Android user experience within tight budget limitations, Moto E is the phone for you! It seems that Motorola has tapped it right into the insatiable appetite of mobile users for cheaper, feature-loaded smartphones. However, it is sure to face a tough competition by other budget smartphones in the market like Samsung Galaxy Fame, Nokia X, and Galaxy Young. Speaking of competition, the company’s chief software engineer Steve Horowitz said that “Moto E is nothing short of a Game Changer”. It is amazing to find a phone that offers the best Android experience at so little a price!

We’ve all done it, and dropping your mobile phone into a puddle, sink, pool or toilet is a real nightmare for any gadget lover. But it’s important to remember that dealing with a water damaged or wet phone doesn’t mean making that dreaded call to your insurance company. Check out the following top tips and resuscitate your device from its watery grave every time!

Avoid Hanging About

This may seem a little obvious but the longer your phone is exposed to water, the greater the damage is likely to be. As soon as your phone drops into that puddle or sink full of dishes, act fast and remove the device from the water straight away. Once you have removed the device, avoid pressing the keypad as this may result in the moisture seeping deeper and deeper into the inner workings of your phone and causing irreparable damage.

Don’t Listen to Your Gut

Whilst the first step every mobile phone user will take when attempting to dry out their drenched gadget is to remove the battery, quickly dry it out and then replace the battery to try again, avoid doing this at all costs! Before replacing the battery, you must ensure every component within your mobile phone is completely dry. Pay particular attention to where the battery fits when drying to ensure that the circuit does not short when you try to switch it on once more.

Picking up a hairdryer or letting your phone naturally dry in the sun’s rays is also a natural reaction for those with a recently water damaged phone, however it is important that you avoid exposing your phone and its inner components to excess heat. Towel drying your phone may not seem as thorough, however it is the perfect tool to ensure it is exposed to dry air, not heightened temperatures.

Draw Out Moisture with Uncooked Rice

This is certainly my favourite trick in the book! Whilst towel drying your mobile phone may result in moisture congregating in hard to reach places, a visit to your kitchen could result in the perfect recipe to save your phone. Dry, uncooked rice draws out moisture from every part of your phone, simply place the device into a sealed container with the rice and leave overnight. You may need to repeat this process once or twice more to ensure the phone is fully dry.

Patience is a Virtue

Patience is certainly the key to fixing a wet or water damaged phone as the device may take up to 72 hours to dry out fully from the inside out. We know it’s difficult to live without your favourite gadgets but try to hold on as long as possible before turning the phone on as shorting the circuit too early may cause permanent damage.
