Make the mixture
Honey is quite sticky so add a little water to make it a bit runny and easier to apply in the ratio of 4:1 and stir until it properly combined. Remember the proportions are dependent on the length and amount of hair. Apple cider can be used instead of water.

If you want your hair to be shaded lighter, add some hydrogen peroxide. This boosts the small amount of hydrogen peroxide in the honey and works more drastically, but it should be used on dark hair as the result will be orange hair.
